Honeymoon in Maldives Chapter 3: Playing with water

One of the best decision le hubby made was to choose a resort with a private pool so that I can swim at ease without wearing the hijab.
I told him it was not a necessity but he insisted on it anyway. It has been raining in the evening so it has been chilly and the water is too cold! Plus the wind is usually pretty strong thus adding on to the cold. However, today we decided to brace ourselves and just dip into the pool!
Also, mad love for the view from our room and pool!
The ladder leads straight to the ocean but I was too chickened to go down. The current was pretty strong and so was the wind so I simply stood at the balcony taking pics of my husband. I did told him not to go too far because if anything were to happen, I would not be able to help. It is always better to safe than sorry.
Morning breakfast again with this view. I don’t think I can ever get tired of this view. Check out the different shades of blue.
It is the perfect place to just chill and do nothing.
We decided to go for a walk to explore the island a little.
The water is so clean and clear and so is the beach.
In the evening we decided to go snorkelling near the beach. As I was too chickened and did not want to venture too far, le hubby held my hands the whole time. Despite not being too far from the beach, I was still able to see all the fishes in the sea! Thank you sayang. Always an amazing experience!
On the way back, we spotted a new friend.
We went back to our room and decided to make full use of our last evening here. So here we are again back in the pool! We were also able to witness the sunset from our pool.
Our last night here and the resort had prepared a complimentary dinner for us, only for those on honeymoon. How lovely. Thank you Coco Bodu Hithi!
Excellent food and service from the restaurant. We were also honoured when the chef personally came out to chat with us. In fact, we were chatting with some of the staff working who were from all over the world like Indonesia, Thailand etc.

This resort is truly a good choice for honeymoon destination. I would highly recommend it. Last night here and we are just going to hang out and chill before we leave tomorrow.
