Happy birthday to Mama! 2016 edition.
5th November 2016
No doubt we celebrate Mama’s birthday everyday but this year it is extra special. We had discussed on where to eat and finally decided to try ‘shell out’. It is a new way of eating where we do not need to use plates. The food will all be served on the table and eating messily is deemed acceptable.
Looks like my little niece is ready. Lol.
First time here and they are serving the first round. The yellow rice is surprisingly so tasty even when eaten by itself.
We love crab! It is rare for us to eat crab here because seafood is pretty expensive here. Look at the amount of food on the table. I wonder if we can finish it all.
2nd serving was black pepper flavoured and it was sooooo good. Yes, we were literally licking our fingers lol.
First shell out experience, done! Previously we tried eating nasi ambeng in a big tray together. When trends like this come, we gotta try. Not everyone will like everything and that is ok.
It cost us $30 per head but it was so worth it. The food was good and we were full! Headed back to solat and rest for a while.
Headed out to Flava for dessert after Isyak prayers. While the seafood place was good, they do not have any dessert on the menu. Plus, our tummies needed a break first lol.
Dessert shared are the best. We could choose the flavours of our ice cream on the palette. Some of the flavours include thai milk tea, lemongrass, affogato, hokey pokey and strawberry cheese. The red velvet waffles were really delicious and too small for us lol.
Happy birthday to Nenek from favourite grandaughter!! Semoga panjang umur, murah rezeki, sihat dan ceria selalu.
Rejoice with your family in the beautiful land of life. – Albert Einstein
