Makan makan Sunday

So it is Sunday and I decided I should try to go out for lunch. Last night we went out for dinner but it was somewhere secluded and not crowded. There was not much walking too because from the car, it was only a 5 metres walk before reaching the restaurant lol.

Today we decided to go out to run some errands and get groceries. We went to Giant in Pasir Ris and it was so crowded. I had to move slowly though. Slowly get out of the car, slowly walked to the building. I panicked when I felt nerve pain the minute I stepped out of the car. I had to remind myself, stay calm and be gentle. My natural instincts were to hurry, worry and panic. I was also careful to stay a distance away from the crowd because I do not want anyone bumping into me.

Thankfully we were there only for a short time. We went for lunch at Flava at Upper East Coast Rd.

Love the ambience and the efficient service. We ordered satay and it was so tasty! Definitely one of the tastiest satay we have ever tasted.

My hot pot seafood crispy noodle has these huge prawns and there are like 4 of these in this pot!

Dad’s hot pot chicken rice tasted good too. I love the huge mushroom.

I am very happy to be out and about after being cooped up at home for a week but the truth was, I was still terrified to walk long distance for fear that this traumatizing experience may occur.

Dessert was goreng pisang gula melaka with coconut ice cream. Super yums. The goreng pisang is crispy just the way I like it.

We went home only to be greeted by my little niece. I miss her so much! Always fun to play the Snow app with her lol.

Since the brother and sis in law were hungry, we decided to accompany them to dinner. We were still full from our late lunch but I am not working tomorrow so I do not need to go to bed early.

We went Eighteen Chefs in Eastpoint Mall.

Always a joy to be around my niece and seeing all antics. This is her smiling but not looking at the camera because the instruction was only to smile lol.

May I recover quickly so we can go out, explore and experience more happy outings insyaAllah.
