Chapter 4: Saying hi to Bangkok!
15 June 2014
So we decided that the pool was too pretty not to swim in it so we went for a short swim in the morning!
There was no one around! I guess everyone was still sleeping. Did I mentioned how much I miss swimming or simply playing with water?
We looked forward to breakfast because its in the open air and we could feel the breeze caressing our faces as we enjoyed our breakfast.
That is the perks of staying in resort just facing the sea? Its breezy almost all the time. Even the lobby area was constantly windy.
Since our flight was in the afternoon, we had some time to spare so we decided to walk along Ao Nang Beach.
Even though it was windy, the sun was scorching hot and my bestie here is not a big fan of the sun. Lol. Nevertheless, I managed to make her pose for these few poses under the hot sun. Haha.
I wanted to join in too.
It was high tide and there was no one swimming at all. This was a contrast to yesterday when it was low tide and people could walk pretty far on sand.
The perfect remedy for hot weather. Ice cream!
Time for lunch! We are back here at the same restaurant. Seems like all we do here is sleep and eat. Lol. The view from our table.
I really wanted to order this coconut juice drink yesterday but they were out of it. Instead, we ordered coconut shake and it was so delicious and refreshing that I had two cups. Lol.
I am going to eat you!
Look at the high tide and how the waters were near to us. I really love how this restaurant has such a great view of the sea.
Food is here! Mango salad!
Prawns with glass noodles and sweet and sour fish!
Thank you Holiday Inn for the short and pleasant stay!
While waiting for the plane to Bangkok, Bon and me played with our cameras. Can’t wait to be in Bangkok! Its my first time there!
Getting ready to depart from Krabi. I was blessed to get the window seat and guess what? I spotted a rainbow just before the plane took off. I wish I had a taken a photo of it but the awkward position on my seat made me miss it taking it. It was so gorgeous! I never spot the rainbow before! Tough luck!
Love seeing the clouds.
We were warmly greeted by the beautiful sunset in Bangkok. Even though it was always partially blocked by the skyline, it was still gorgeous.
After a one hour taxi ride, we finally arrived at Courtyard Marriot Bkk. I love our room because its soo huge thanks to Bon!!
I think we ate too much at lunch which was why we were too full to have dinner. So Bon brought us to a dessert place!
I love how the cafe has ‘There is always room for dessert’ printed on their napkins! This molten lava cake was yums.
Apparently, the cafe is famous for their toast so we ordered one. I can see why, its so delicious, we could clearly taste the butter and the honey inside the toast, it was impossible not to like it.
Actually I thought it was too small for us! Haha! We have sweet tooth!
I think we had a pretty long day so we went back earlier to rest. I love how big my bed is and I love that I have so many pillows! Lol.
Yeah, the plan was to write every night but usually I am too beat to do that. I am also relieved that there is free wifi in this hotel, so I would not feel too lost.
I can’t seem to live without internet. #problem
