Leaving footprints in Korea Day 2 @ Trick Eye Museum and Tom’s Cat Cafe
15 December 2012
Good morning! The temperature today is about -4 degrees. I am very happy that it is not raining but the weather was still cold. We took a long time getting ready simply because we had to wear many layers of clothes. Haha!
I kinda like the area where we are staying for the next few days. Its clean, safe and cosy. I also love the fact that we can see mountains!
The plan is to explore the 2 places I have been wanting to go and we are scheduled to go there via public transport. There were no escalators and I was literally dragging myself up the so many stairs in the train station! Perhaps that is the secret of how everyone here looks so slim!
First stopover. Lunch because we were starving.
After walking and searching for this place, we have finally arrived!
Before this trip, the bestie asked me if I had any place in mind to visit while we are in Seoul. I did some research and discovered this museum. I have never been to a museum like this so I thought it would be a great experience.
Frankly, I was so excited to be here!
As soon as we entered, I found a man who was not supposed to be doing this in public.
After that, we saw someone dropping money so being the greedy and money minded people that we are, we went to collect them.
We got ourselves an adventure!
The bestie threw a pail of water onto an innocent lady and I became strong! I could lift the heavy bar! Thanks to the new found strength, I conquered the Madussa while she went turned Monalisa into a fatso.
We were tired after all that excitement so we stopped for a while for tea.
As we walked on, we saw this naked fat man and I so love the quote below it!
The naked fat man warned us not to enter the ‘black and white room right ahead. We decided to be stubborn and ignore him. As soon as we entered the room, this happened!
And then we magically swap places! What was happening?!
The bizarre atmosphere in the ‘black and white’ room was freaking us out so we decided to leave it!
The room must have done something to our brain because I unknowingly pulled down this guy’s pants and embarrassed him!
Before I get into more trouble, I ran off and I bumped into my evil twin who is now a ballerina! Its not fair that she is slim! Boo! See the similarities?
The next few minutes went by too fast, I was not sure what was happening. You see it for yourself!
Thankfully we snapped back into consciousness when Cupid arrived. He promised to shoot his arrows carefully in the future instead of shooting at some morons and psychos for us.
Cupid must have sprinkled some wonderful dust because the papparazis all wanted a photo of me. Lol.
We hope to be blessed with abundance of wealth and health so that we can travel to more places!
However, no one suspected that bestie and me were planning a bank robbery! We want to spread the money to all those who cannot afford the money to travel the world!
Aren’t we noble?
Noble or naughty?? YOLO!!
We are simply curious!
And occasionally naughty! Girls just want to have fun right?
Deep inside, we have a good heart and we have sexy legs.
I am happy that we have emerged as heroes here!
Before going home, the most un-expected happened! My legs walked away from me! Argh!
Thankfully I was saved by the handsome knight in …… just shirtless and with horse’s legs.
He brought an army of snowmen with him!
We started to grow wings and transformed into angels.
To get out of this weird place, we had to cut off the string that hypnotized us. No human and animal were hurt in this story. We were finally free!
Time for tea break after all that excitement!
Waffles is my true love. Can I marry it?
While drinking, we heard a meowing so we decided to follow the sounds of the cats. The sounds brought us here!
A cafe full of cats!
We felt so warmly welcomed by the cosy and cute designs of the cat cafe.
There were cats everywhere! It was like heaven to me!
Love these white ones! They really reminded me of Snowy!
Not sure why they were all sleepy? Did we come during their nap time?
Zzzzzz away…….
Someone got rid of her fear of cats! Congratulations!
When we left, they were still sleeping! It was a lovely experience. I am so glad we came! Thank you to the best for coming with me, the crazy cat lady even though I know she has always been slightly terrified of cats
I so love it! I must come back here next time!
Love the walls too. I wonder why there are no cat cafes in Singapore yet. It would be great to open one!
Next, Seoul city bus tour! It was getting dark.
We were freezing cold actually. Lol.
After about 45 minutes in the best, we finally arrived!
The beautiful view!! But it was too cold to stay outside the bus for a long time!
It was actually a really lovely place to walk but I felt worried that I could not feel my fingers because I was too frozen.
So we quickly posed for photos so we could get back inside!
The view was beautiful, we could almost see the whole of Seoul but our cameras were unable to capture the view. This is why its best to experience being there yourself.
Cannot wait for tomorrow!
