Chapter 3: Missing sunset in Bandung
3 December 2012
Breakfast!! For some reason I was feeling more hungry than the day before. Still trying not to eat too much and eat healthy. Not easy!
We found some props outside the place where we had breakfast and of course we had to play with it.
Our driver was running late so we had the time to play with my camera!
I am glad the senior citizens are sporting! Lol.
Our first pitstop was Pasar Baru. Its like another version of Geylang Serai but much bigger. The senior citizens went crazy shopping even the guys. Lol. We had 2 hours there but the senior citizens were quite slow in walking and in bargaining, we only managed to shop around level 2 and half of level 3. There are 6 levels in the building.
Next pit stop was this place called Rabbani.
This was where I found these!!! Dolls wearing hijab! I had to buy them!
Ok I bought 3 different dolls, perhaps for my future daughter. Lol.
Hungry and looking for something light because we were scheduled to go for dinner at 5 pm. We rested at Java Beans at Rumah Mode, where we did zohor prayers and took a break.
This was a very nice place to chill and the weather makes it a nice place to sleep too!
Love the sound of water from the pond and the fishes were all so fat!
My strawberry smoothie was delicious and we shared the pizza.
Chicken wings because the senior citizens love chicken.
Our group photo before leaving. I would come here again to eat and shop.
Next pit stop was a factory outlet. I only bought 2 sweaters and the trench coat here was pretty cheap but I figured it was too thin for my next trip. Dad and Cik Ali played with the mannequins.
Dinner at Stone Cafe! We were suppose to be able to see the sunset but it was raining so this was our view.
I kinda like the idea of the hut all to ourselves! Oh, the waiter is so handsome too. Lol.
I still thought the view was beautiful!
Time to chill and eat!
Appetizer. Yumms.
My dinner was Ayam Bakar Bali, the sambal belacan was so delicious! The rest of the food were great too!
It started to get dark and the rain stopped. Stunning view.
We quickly took photos before it started to get any darker. Lol.
It was only 6.30 pm.
Dessert! Mixed fruit with ice cream! I thought they would put it on a plate. Please pardon my Dad’s expression at the back. Lol.
One last group pic before leaving. By this time it was already dark and the view could not be seen anymore.
I will definitely come here again when I am in Bandung!
You can check out the website of this Stone Cafe here.
