Chapter 1: Hello Bandung!

This trip was a truly a last minute trip for me. The parents have made the decision to go but I did not and they were trying to persuade me for days. I did not want to go because I was already gearing up for the Korea trip and I had a lot of cleaning to do at home. However the parents managed to persuade me to go, mainly because they were worried that I will be home all alone since bro was going to be away for reservist.

So I decided to just go for this 4 days trip. This was my first time stepping in Bandung.

The brother and Izzah sent us off at the airport. Our itinerary was planned by Izzah who had been there before.

The parents were excited about the food served on the plane. Lol.

Arrival at the airport! I think we got a little shock at the state of the airport. World’s apart from ours!

The airport was pretty small. We simply needed to walk to the belt to collect our luggage. The waiting time was so long, and there were place to sit down so it was getting frustrating. Nevertheless, Baba seemed excited because we have not gone for a holiday together for quite some time. 

Our hotel was conveniently located in the middle of the city.

We love our apartment! It looks so spacious and cosy so Mum did the happy dance in the living room.

My own bedroom. Yay. I can actually sleep all day here. 

Time for dinner! Found this place called Suga Rush and I love the settings of the restaurant.

However, waiting for the food was too long and the parents, auntie and uncle did not like it. Err.. this is not Singapore. We must get used to the lifestyle here for a few days.

My fish baked rice tasted pretty good to me.

I saw pancakes on the menu and I have been craving for the longest time for it!! Shared dessert for the five of us.

The restaurant was playing the live soccer match between Indonesia and Malaysia and it was obvious that everyone was rooting for their own country. That kept the family entertained while waiting for a long time for their food.

We are going to visit the volcano tomorrow. Excited!
