Chapter 6: Of low clouds and colourful pau

17 December 2011

It was our last day at beautiful Krabi. We woke up in the morning and saw the clouds so low. Perhaps the clouds were mourning because we were leaving.

I felt slightly sad to leave, time seemed to pass slowly here. Perhaps we were not rushing like we usually do our busy city lives.

Before leaving, we realised we have not taken photo at our balcony.

I must say that after 3 days together, the girls became as animated as I was.

Our favourite pau stall was opened so we went there for breakfast.

Eating the pau for one last time 😦

Eating our favourite banana pancake for one last time too.

We bought almost all the food at the stall. Some were ate there, and the rest were packed for ourselves so that we can munch on the way to the airport. I think we bought almost everything that was available? The auntie can pack up and go home. Lol.

We did not want to miss taking photos with our favourite pau auntie! Thank you for your wonderful service even though we could not speak the same language!

We arrived early at airport because we needed to book our seats. It was only 9.15 am.

3 hours later and we were still waiting to board the plane. I bought a book and in that 3 hours, finished half the book 😛

This book was so good. I actually cried reading it.

We safely arrived in Singapore at 3.45 pm. It was raining in Singapore and there were some turbulences while we were in the air. First time experiencing such a rough flight and I was trying to keep calm the whole time for Fifi who was nervous 🙂

Back to reality! Sad that our holiday and food adventure has ended but at the same time, I felt somewhat accomplished.

I have done what I thought I would never get to do in this trip, and the risks we all took. This whole trip was truly an experience I would remember. I shall remember the tips Maria taught me on how to pack. Hahaha!! I think its my first time being so stress because I could not fit everything into my luggage.

Thank you to my 3 travel buddies who were there throughout the entire trip!!

Now I am raring to go for another trip next holiday! But, where?
