Chapter 1: Arrived in beautiful Krabi

Its the day we have all been looking forward to! We were leaving for Krabi at 2 pm flight so that meant that we had to be at the airport early. I was early, I actually started packing for this trip in the morning!

Guess who was also there at the airport?

The sotongs were leaving for Krabi too on the same day and same flight!

We are here! I have always loved looking at the view of islands from planes. Its a much more refreshing to see trees and seas rather than concrete buildings.

This was really a budgeted trip so we have opted to stay in this hotel by the roadside. Its pretty near the beach and its surrounded by food stalls.

We were starving so we headed out to look for a suitable place to have dinner. We found this cosy hut extremely attractive and it was run by a muslim family so we decided to have our dinner here.

I mean, how often do we get the opportunity to dine in a hut, by the roadside? Surprisingly there was a huge variety of food to choose from and we were spoilt for choices. We were also greedy excited to try all the fruit juices!

The food was yummy and really cheap! It was like seafood dinner and this kind of seafood dinner would easily cost us more than $100 Singapore dollars but here, we paid a quarter of that amount!

How can we be in Thailand if we do not have a taste of their tom yum soup!

We spotted this on our way back. We had to try it even though we were still full from dinner. Lol.

The stall was also owned by a muslim so we felt at ease.

Savouring the different flavours of pancake in our hotel room! The chocolate drizzled pancake was the yummiest to me!

Our adventure starts tomorrow! Yay.
