Day 4: The day we became statues

14 June 2013

We are leaving Jeju Island today! We have thoroughly enjoyed being here thanks to the wonderful hosts at Jejueco Suites. Our last breakfast here.

Image

I love how they provide a range of healthy food choices for breakfast too. I was pretty sure I lost weight these 2 days after all the walking / hiking and consumption of healthy food.

Saying goodbye to our room. We really love our room, especially the balcony!

If you are going to Jeju Island, do check out Jejueco Suites. Its cosy and they provide you with transport around the island.

Our usual antics.

We had a few hours before our flight at 5 pm so we decided to visit one last place before leaving Jeju. Our hostel was nice enough to hold on to our luggages while we wander around.

Last stop in Jeju. Ripley’s Believe it or not museum!

Image

Saw this car made or cardboard. Wow!! In case I cannot afford a real car, I think this would be good enough.

Image

I was also shocked to see that there are people who grew horns from their head! Omg!

Sitting in a giant chair to make us feel small in size.

Image

The bestie bought this car. She wants to collect cars as a hobby just like Hyuk.

The man is so cute! He could swallow his nose!

Image

With the tallest man alive!!

Image

I have always thought that my hands and feet were big. Well, apparently, not.

Image

Papparazi wanted to take photos of me! Nooooooooooo! Haha. I actually thought it was a real person.

Image

There were so many interesting characters. And they are real people! Reading about their stories was such an eye opener!

Image

There was this lady who was the heaviest human at 630 kg. I was reading what she ate in one day and my jaw almost dropped! Ah…may I never ever get even close to this!

Image

I was entertaining myself while waiting for the bestie (who was reading everything that’s why she takes so long). I did not know that the people from the other side could see us! When I found out at the end of the walkway, I was glad I did not do anything stupid or embarrassing in front of the mirror. Lol.

Image

Got ourselves stuck in jail for no reason. Help!

Image

Since we were one of a kind, our heads had to be cut off to be used in an experiment.

A wedding dress made of toilet paper. For those of you who wants to get married but do not have any money, you should seriously consider this.

Image

I was engrossed looking at this statue spinning. This guy has no legs and he did all this amazing acrobatic acts.

Image

It was then that I felt a tap on my arms. When I turned, this guy appeared shocked! He then went on to apologize profusely to me.

Did he thought I was a statue?! Omg.

I went to look for the bestie to tell her what just happened and she just laughed at me. :/

Meet our robot friends!

Image

I had to do zohor and asar prayers and bestie found a spot behind the staircase. Apparently, while I was doing prayers and she was sitting on the staircase, there were people who also thought she as a statue.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Big tree outside! It was raining but we did not care.

Image

Finally at the airport after a 45 minutes bus ride. Thanks Jeju for the wonderful memories!

Back in Seoul and staying at Yeha Guesthouse again! We stayed here the last time and it was good.

After unpacking and resting for short while, headed out for dinner. There were many restaurants nearby and we were more familiar with this area since we were here the last time.

Seafood pancake!

Day 5 tomorrow!
