Day 3: Hiking and museum come alive!
13 June 2013
We are ready for Day 3! Bestie with her cheesy hat because she was afraid of getting dark. Hahaha…
We are here at our first stop!
It was a complete serenity….
Wide ocean with no limits.
I am fascinated with the rocks. I thought they were really beautiful.
This view! Can you see the rocks look like its man-made? Its all natural!
I love the sea…..
The path ahead. Love the cloudy, cooling weather.
Encounters with the Tiki Man. I had to dig his nose for him.
We encountered dolphins too…
We also sat in a giant shell!!
As we walked on, we encountered ahjumma (auntie) selling flowers.
Time for hike in nature!
The beautiful view again!
We arrived at this big rocky space overlooking the ocean…you can see nothing here right?
Its actually a really rocky field but thankfully its not slippery so we could walk further with not much difficulty.
We could sit there and watch the ocean all day!
Trying not to slip or else I am history. Lol. Looks so near the edge right?
Can you spot her????
How can we leave before taking all these pictures? Lol.
Time to continue walking to look at the view from other spots. The bestie and our guide, Victor. I find bestie’s hat amusing lol.
After a long walk, we saw this! Legend has it that this looks like the shape of a woman who was waiting for her husband who went out into the see to fish.
Shortly, we arrived at this location where a korean drama was being shot.
The path ahead. By this time, we were by ourselves as Victor went to get the van and said that he will meet us at the end of the pathway for the hike.
It looks like its just us and the sky!
Of course the walk was not smooth, we had to go down a whole lot of steps. My knees were crying.
View to calm me down…lol.
We decided to take a short break! I can fly!
These pictures tell the story of bestie’s amusing hat. :p
After the really long and endless hike, we finally arrived at the end of the walkway! Yay!! Hungry and time for lunch!
This egg is soo wow!! The food was great too, Victor really knows where are the good places to eat. We were so blessed.
After lunch we we brought to this Dubai like bridge. Its called the Saeyeon Bridge.
Bestie said that previously they allowed patrons to walk to the edge to explore more but now they don’t. That explain the fence. So wasted. I would love to walk and check out the mini pond.
There were not many people so we could do all the stupid things we wanted to do.
Spiral staircase and floating time!
Our next stop!! Waterfall again!
It was not as high as yesterday’s but it was still pretty.
Don’t you just love the sounds of the water? Its so calming to the mind and soul.
Just playing around as usual…the air was really fresh.
I have a thing for rivers…special connection with water.
Time for tea. Green tea to be exact at the green tea plantation.
This was our view while we were having tea. Woah…it was cloudy and it looks like it was going to rain.
We spotted and upside down house!
Mini windmill house in the middle of the plantation. Sooo cute.
It has always been a dream of mine to sit in a shelter like this in the middle of field and just rest. Ahh…I love it. I can really take a nap here.Yes, I crave for all the simple things in life.
Bestie went up this mini house to enjoy the view. I wanted to but I was really scared of the big dog lol.
What I am not afraid of…rabbits!!
The rabbits were all so cute and I really wanted to carry them even though they were muddy. I finally went into the pen and decided to just follow my gut instinct!
They were all following me for food. Too cute!!
I managed to carry this one! Its so cute I want to bring it home!
I had so much fun playing with the rabbits! There were some big and scary ones but none bit me at all. One really cute grey one was putting its leg on my legs asking for food…ah…too cute!!
Since we were all muddy and wet (from the rain), we requested Victor to send us back first before going out to our next destination. He agreed.
Leaving the green tea cafe….love the tree-like furniture inside.
After short break, we set out to go to the Alive Museum!
This place was huge! It was much bigger than the Trick Eye Museum that we visited in Hongdae!
Here, we could do all the things that may seem impossible to do outside…
Paint Mona Lisa…
Destroy a painting…. wahahaha…
Be a ballerina….
Getting stepped by a giant and doing hand stand!
Get swallowed by a giant snake…..
Be part of a science experiment….
Paint animals…
Be an angel….(because I am usually not one haha)
Ride a boat in Venice..
Be the beauty that we have always wanted to be….
Be friends with mermaids!
Opss, I am in trouble, save me!!
Helping others while having the time of my life.
Oh dear, the bestie needs help! She got bitten by jaws and she lost her reflection!
She started climbing walls and being a nuisance ….lol.
We got into more trouble….
Finally, all the chaos is over and we got out!
Let’s do the happy dance!
It was a whole new adventure outside with some of the most famous people in the world!
Le bestie thinks too much.
Got to know a whole bunch of new friends.
Oh look, some kids to play with!
Saving my blue boyfriend from sinking!
Helping the farmers….
Our job is almost done….time to say goodbye to our new friends…
Get on our carriage…
Before leaving, we had to say goodbye to our bear friends too…their homes are so pretty. Wish I had a house as pretty.
My favourite! So nice to hug.
My final jump shot today!
Last night here in Jeju as we are leaving tomorrow!
